About
High Pine Family Farm
We are a fourth generation farm that believes in supporting other small farms. We where established in 1944. My great grandma grew up in the house I am living in, my grandma grew up in this house, my mother grew up there to, and I am growing up in it also. I do believe that all kids should experience what it is like to live on a farm. Doing chores at the crack of dawn, walking out through the dewy grass to stock the farm stand before work. Coming home and working the garden with my mother and watching our crops grow, and watching them fail. Listening to the tractor while my mother is chaotic in the kitchen making a masterpiece. Our farm may be small but it isn't easy, these people make it work, like clockwork. My mother Jessica Mattia plays an extremely important part in our business. My father makes all the mechanical equipment work. My sister Lydia is the warrior of our family. I am no author but I do my very best to take care of our pasture full of animals.
